The Sound of Clay

The Sound of Clay – A Workshop for the senses.

Immerse yourself in a deeply sensory experience where the art of clay meets the healing power of sound. This workshop invites you to slow down, tune in, and connect - both with the clay in your hands and the vibrations surrounding you.

We begin with a tea ceremony guided by Carina von Tendermind, a quiet ritual to ground ourselves in the present moment. As you savor the warmth of each sip, the delicate aromas and flavors create space for stillness and intention, preparing you for the journey ahead.

Following this, Paulina will introduce you to the pinching technique, one of the oldest and most intuitive ways of shaping clay. With mindful hands, you’ll explore the material’s softness and responsiveness, allowing creativity to flow naturally.

As you shape and mold the earth, Carina will guide you through sound healing, using gentle frequencies to deepen relaxation and presence. The soft whispers of wet clay, the rhythmic movements of your hands, and the harmonious tones of singing bowls or chimes create a meditative space where creativity and mindfulness intertwine.

Whether you’re new to ceramics or an experienced maker, The Sound of Clay offers a unique opportunity to explore the connection between material, movement, and sound. Join us for a soulful journey where clay speaks, and we learn to listen.
